Followed a link on the internet for the steps. I had to uncheck Steam VR theatre mode, switch to the Oculus Beta branch, and add '-oculus' as the launch parameter. In Oculus PC app, I increased the resolution slider to 1.5x (5048 wide - native Quest 2 resolution) and 90 Hz. I have now succeeded bigtime. My only guess is that I need a cable, which is not something I want to have. I've broken the two I've had fairly quick due to them shorting from twisting, so having a cable just for playing Euro/American truck seems rather silly. #2. Irish Spud Dec 13, 2023 @ 5:58am. Try putting -openvr in the launch option. #3. I'm new to the game and one thing I'd love is to be able to see the real local time (not the time that appears on the GPS) somewhere inside the truck, preferably on the GPS or dashboard. I've looke for a mod but couldn't find any. I know I can see the time if I pause the game but it's very immersion breaking and sometimes I just lose track of time and would like to know when it's time to go to I have profiles set up for both ETS 2 and ATS that turn on ASW and bump up the scaling, as the game's scaling options are more demanding on your system. And -openvr isn't just for Vive, you can use it for Oculus headsets as well. The issue is then you're going game > Steam VR > Oculus VR > headset, instead of just game > Oculus VR > headset. Euro Truck Simulator 2. Valve Index. Howdy truckers! So with the Valve Index VR headset finally open for preorders, it got me thinking about native support for Euro Truck Simulator 2. We already have seen support for the Oculus and HTC headsets, and it really is an immersive experience! Do you think we can expect the developers to begin I have the Oculus Quest 2, which can connect to SteamVR games via either Oculus Link (cable) or Virtual Desktop (wifi). My GPU is a RTX 3070. I tried ETS2 in Oculus Link, and found it pretty choppy as I tried to increase the scaling past 150%. I normally use 400% scaling on my 1440p monitor, and right now ETS2 VR feels significantly less In diesem Video zeige ich euch wie ihr Euro Truck Simulator 2 in VR spielen könnt.Schritte:1. In der Steam-Bibliothek auf Euro Truck Simulator rechtsklicken, 2.Install the lastest WMR beta. 3.Untick ''Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game'' for all ETS2, STEAMVR and WMR. 4.Untick ''Use Desktop Game Theatre While SteamVR is Active'' for all ETS2, STEAMVR and WMR. 5.You also should set the game priority at ''realtime'' after you started the game. STEAMVR SETTINGS: Open the config.cfg (located in C:\Users*Your username*\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\Euro Truck Simulator 2) in notepad or notepad++ and look for uset g_trackir “1” change the 1 to a 0. Looked in the wrong config file. This is the solution. Will try TrackIR with some older games. Thank you for your support. Not sure exactly how, but I got it finally. Any idea why the launcher says it won't work in VR when it does? Use -openvr in the launch options along with the Oculus beta branch (Right click on ATS in Steam > Properties > Betas > Oculus+OpenVR 1.43). If it shows up on the monitor instead of the headset press F11. I4SAq.
