Here is a picture from forscan. There are two things that seem dtange to me, first the crankshaft sensor is changing between synced, errod and synching. I would have thought it should show synched all the time when engine is running. But i get a good rpm signal all the time. Changed crankshaft and camshaft sensor but did not help.

I bought a mondeo mk4 1.8tdci manual. It's a non runner. Maybe I was foolish buying this car as it doesn't start at all. When I scanned it it comes up with camshaft position sensor P0341. Ground. The two-wire crank position sensor has a signal cord through which the crankshaft sensor sends its voltage to the ECU. The second is the ground cord, which is necessary for the current to complete an electrical circuit. Both wires are connected to the electronic control unit. Okay, so I bit the bullet and forked out £75 for a genuine Ford sensor and it made absolutely no difference whatsoever , I've been told the fault could be anything from a dodgy connection in the wiring loom to an ECU fault, so have decided to cut our losses and have just part-exchanged the car against another one !!
Ford Model: Mondeo 2.0 TDCi Titanium X Ford Year: 2008 UK Could someone please tell me where the boost control position sensor is located on my 2.0TDCi mk4?
On average, expect to spend $100 to $250 to have the camshaft position sensor replaced. The parts may cost $75 to $125, while the labor makes up $25 to $125. The total cost depends on the make and model of your vehicle, as well as local labor rates .
